In theory, your screen can show some 17m colors. I wonder how many shades you can get with a rapidograph. The bottom part of the picture that you see as totally black splash was actually rich in shades and texture—the whole idea was that black ink (shiny, drawn with the pen) on black ink (matt, painted with a brush) was used to distinguish the grass and herbs from the background.
