ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE “CHRONICLES OF NARNIA” (DRAWINGS OF THE DAWN TREADER AND OF HORSES)

Never heard about Narnia? Then in the address line above type amazon.com and search for the name. Don't come back until you are familiar with the story (you may see the movie, but I'd rather depend on my own imagination).

Actually, not everyone likes the “Chronicles” written by C.S. Lewis. The professor, once believed in Jesus and got saved, wrote a decent bunch of books that had one thing in common: Christian theology and the place of God in our contemporary lives. The "Chronicles of Narnia" will remain his biggest hit forever. Just as I was browsing for some material to this drawing, I learned that they would soon launch a movie based on the first book of the series, called “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”.

First time I had contact with the Chronicles, I must say I was really moved with them, and it is still so—the style of narration is simply irresistible. The stories were written to entertain children and make older people wish they were born again. I didn't know who C.S. Lewis was, but I got his message and I hope you get it, too.

I have just recently added another illustration here, I wish I had the time to draw more of them for you to enjoy!
