A sketch--fragment

SKETCHES OF ROBOTS AND DROIDS

Regardless of the fact if you are a designer or an engineer, it's actually the nature that proves which form is properly shaped up to functioning in a particular environment. That's why, after a long time of observing machines made by the ingenious human mind, I switched to watching some animals that have adjusted themselves to various types of different circumstances.

But, of course, there are no limits here. Making the sketches below I was trying to give myself an answer of how our technical abilities would actually be used when building human-independent thinking machines.

There are hundreds of answers different than these. For example, I love the story written by Stanisław Lem, called “The Invincible”, which presents an acceptable theory of “artificial evolution” of machines that were left to themselves. Next to the original “Solaris”, a must-read for everyone seriously interested in the subject.
